If you’re feeling motivated to do some exercise yourself, but don’t know where to start, or you’re bored of your current routine, have little or no equipment or not a lot of space? Then check out these videos to give you a little bit of inspiration on how you can utilise your space, up the intensity of your workout or check you’re doing an exercise correctly.

 
The Alternate Forward Lunge
This is an excellent exercise for building up your leg muscles. There are lots of variations and ways to increase the intensity but first you should master the lunge using body weight only as in this video clip.
 
 
The pulse lunge to jumping lunge
This is an example of a progression to the alternate forward lunge. By adding the jump you are making the exercise more cardiovascular, working your heart and lungs harder.
 
 
The Plank Pike
If you have mastered the low plank and want to change it up a bit add this pike into the mix. 
 
The Plank Shoulder Tap
This is a progression to the high plank, it will work your shoulders and your core harder as you try to stabilise your torso and lift one hand off the floor.
